Fire damages Sandy Hill home

An early-morning fire has damaged the upper level of a three-storey home in Sandy Hill.
The two-alarm fire began in a home on Chapel Street, just before 4 a.m., Friday. Heavy smoke and flames were pouring out of the home's top floor when firefighters arrived.
Ottawa Fire says there are firefighter injuries while battling the blaze, but that they are not critical.
A bus has been brought in to shelter the people displaced by the fire.
The estimated amount of damage from the fire had yet to be tallied.
An Ottawa Fire investigator will be sent to the scene to try to determine the cause.
