Second round of Ottawa Public Libraries set to open

Six additional Ottawa Public Library (OPL) branches will reopen Monday. 

The Carlingwood, Carp, Greely, North Gloucester, St. Laurent, and Stittsville locations will allow customers to put up to 50 items on hold

The held items will remain on the shelves for 14 days for customers to book an appointment for contactless pickup. 

No appointment is required to return library items.

The next round of OPL locations will open on July 27 which includes Alta Vista, Blackburn Hamlet, Centennial, Elmvale Acres, and Emerald Plaza.

On August 10, the Sunnyside, Hazeldean, Manotick, Orléans, Richmond, Rideau, and Vanier locations will open. 

All OPL locations closed in early March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
