Multi-vehicle crash snarls Highway 417 eastbound traffic

Ottawa paramedics are on the scene of a multi-vehicle crash on the eastbound lanes of Highway 417, just west of Parkdale Avenue.

The incident happened around 2:51 p.m., Thursday, August 6.

Paramedics say one person needed to be assessed at the scene but didn't want to go to the hospital.

The highway has since been cleared of the accident to allow traffic to flow freely.
