Three Ottawa men each facing 92 charges after weapons bust near US border
Four men are facing weapon-related charges after police uncovered nine firearms and 14 prohibited devices believed to have been smuggled into Canada from the United States.
The four were arrested on June 16 in Cornwall.
An investigation by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Cornwall Detachment has lead to 92 criminal charges against each of the men, three of whom are from Ottawa.

The charges are as follows:
- Importing a firearm knowing it is unauthorized, contrary to the Criminal Code (23 counts)
- Possession of a firearm without a licence, contrary to the Criminal Code (9 counts)
- Possession of a prohibited device, contrary to the Criminal Code (14 counts)
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, contrary to the Criminal Code (23 counts)
- Smuggling, contrary to the Customs Act (23 counts)
The accused are:
- Barou Junior Mbuyamba, 20, of Ottawa
- Kwadwo Nyarko Danso-Manu, 20, of Ottawa
- Jevon Theo Anderson, 20, from Ottawa
- Tony Nzoigba, 23, of Toronto
All four have since been released from custody and are set to appear in court on various dates.
