City employee at Overbrook Community Centre test positive for COVID-19
A City employee who works at the Overbrook Community Centre has tested positive for COVID-9.
A memo sent to city council by the recreation, cultural and facility service department confirmed the news Saturday afternoon.
According to the memo, the employee last worked on September 23 and was asymptomatic at the time at the centre located on Quill Street in the east end of the city.

The employee worked alone during the shift and did not interact with the public.
When they received news that a family member had tested positive, the employee presented for testing on September 29.
Their positive test result was confirmed on October 3.
The individual is self-isolating at home.
