More staff at Garry J. Armstrong and Centre d’accueil Champlain long term care homes test positive for COVID-19

Another staff member at the Garry J. Armstrong and two more staff at the Centre d’accueil Champlain long-term care homes have tested positive for COVID-19.
A memo sent by Donna Gray, general manager of the community and social services department confirmed the news in a memo to city council Saturday evening.
For Garry J. Armstrong, located in New Edinburgh, there have now been four cases of staff members testing positive for the virus.
For Centre d’accueil Champlain, located in Vanier, there have also been four positive cases among employees.
There are no recorded cases among residents.
Both homes, as well as the Peter D. Clark Centre in Nepean, continue to remain on outbreak.
