COVID-19 outbreak forces partial closure of St. Joseph high school in Barrhaven

By OttawaMatters Staff

The Ottawa Catholic School Board (OCSB) is declaring a partial outbreak at St. Joseph Catholic High School in Barrhaven, as students in Grades 9 through 12 are being told to stay home.

The school board says one class has been told to self isolate — students and their families have been informed.

Two classes of Grade 7 and 8 students are also self isolating, but the OCSB  says other intermediate classes are allowed to go to school.

Students in Grades 9 thru 12 are being told to self-isolate, monitor for COVID-19 symptoms, and stay away from places were social distancing is difficult to maintain.
