National Gallery of Canada reminding residents of its COVID-safe environment
The National Gallery of Canada is hoping families looking for activities indoors this winter consider it, as it's open and offering a COVID-safe environment.
The gallery, which has ample room to socially distance, is operating with safety measures in place.
“We only have one entrance and there is a path you will see,” said gallery spokesperson Rosemary Thompson. “There are little circles on the pavement and you follow them into the building and instantly you can wash your hands with hand sanitizer and you have to wear your mask.”

Thompson says the size of the gallery, paired with the fact the gallery is operating at a limited capacity, leaves plenty of room for visitors to safely enjoy the art.
