FOUND: Police searching for missing deaf and autistic woman in Barrhaven

Ottawa Police confirm that Maryan Abdi has been located safe and sound.
Police released the update Friday night.

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is asking for the public's help in finding missing 29-year-old woman, last seen in Barrhaven.
Maryan Abdi, of Ottawa, was last seen this early Friday afternoon, in the area of Longfields Drive and Beatrice Drive.
Her family is concerned for her safety.
Abdi is described as:
- Black woman
- 5' 6'' (168 cm)
- Medium build
- She is deaf and autistic
- She is known to use OC Transpo
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Abdi is asked to call the Ottawa Police Central Criminal Investigations Section at 613-236-1222 ext. 5166.
Anyone with any information that could assist investigators is asked to contact the Missing Persons Unit 613-236-1222, ext. 2355, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., daily.
