An indoor hockey practice that was a source of community transmission of COVID-19 has finally stopped spreading, two months later.
Ottawa Public Health (OPH) says it started when one person, who was asymptomatic, went to a hockey practice in the middle of October.

The sports cluster reported in November has resulted in 89 cases & 445 high risk contacts. When we say “be #COVIDwise“, this is why. It also led to four outbreaks in schools, one outbreak at a daycare and impacted 10 sports teams.
OPH is outlining that the actions of each individual resident matters, and it's important to remain COVIDwise.
