Hog’s Back Road to reopen between Colonel By and Riverside

The Hog's Back Bridge is reopening, allowing another access point for traffic between Colonel By Drive and Riverside Drive for the first time in months.

The Hog's Back Swing Bridge reconstruction had the roadway closed for 14 months before it re-opened early last October, but then work was needed on the stationary bridge.

That repair was supposed to be completed in December but was delayed due to the late delivery of a guard rail.

The bridge and road are expected to reopen at 5 p.m., Friday, January 15.
