1 in serious condition after OC Transpo bus, pedestrian crash

Ottawa paramedics said they took one woman to hospital in serious but stable condition after her legs were pinned beneath a bus.

At around 12:30 p.m., paramedics, fire and police were called to a main road through Centretown for a collision. When they arrived they found an OC Transpo bus and a pedestrian had collided.

Paramedics detailed that the woman’s legs were “trapped under the wheel of the bus.”

According to police, Elgin Street is closed between Gladstone Avenue and Frank Street.
