Smiths Falls opens Gerry Lowe Memorial Sens Rink Of Dreams

Anyone looking for an outdoor activity this weekend is invited to check out the Gerry Lowe Memorial Sens Rink of Dreams in Smiths Falls.
Town officials say the rink is open for skating only; there are no nets, sticks, pucks or balls allowed on the ice due to provincial restrictions, and only 25 people are allowed on the ice at one time.
To make it fair, use of the rink is on a first-come-first-serve basis, and skaters will be allotted 25 minutes of ice time.
Face masks are also mandatory, both on and off the ice.
The rink, located at 150 Elmsley Street, will be open seven days a week from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.
