Greenboro Community Centre employee tests positive for COVID-19

A City of Ottawa Recreation, Cultural and Facility Services employee, who last worked at the Greenboro Community Centre, has tested positive for COVID-19.

The city says the employee last worked on April 8 and began experiencing COVID-19 symptoms the next day.

The individual got tested for the novel coronavirus on April 11, and a positive test was confirmed on April 13. 

The employee continues to self-isolate.

If customers have concerns of exposure, they can contact Ottawa Public Health at 613-580-6744 to speak to a public health nurse or visit ottawapublichealth.ca.
