Police looking for witnesses in west end hit and run of teen

Ottawa police are asking for the public’s help in locating a vehicle that was involved in a collision that happened in the city’s west end.
According to police, a teenage pedestrian was struck on Friday at about 11:25 p.m. on Baseline Road near Navaho Drive and suffered significant injuries.
The vehicle involved was travelling westbound on Baseline Road.
A dark coloured vehicle was observed hitting the pedestrian near Algonquin College and failing to stop.
The vehicle was last seen continuing westbound on Baseline Road.
Police are requesting information from any witnesses or any additional evidence, such as dash cam footage or information related to the subject vehicle.
