More than 9,000 Hydro Ottawa customers affected by power outage
Hydro Ottawa says 9,244 of its customers are in the dark after thunderstorms which rolled through the region.
There had been 38,000 without power at one point, Monday afternoon, according to Hydro Ottawa's Twitter feed.
OUTAGE: We are experiencing multiple outages in the Rideau-Vanier & Rideau-Rockliffe wards, affecting 38K + customers. Crews have been mobilized. ETR: 11:00pm

The current outages are generally affecting neighbourhoods in Vanier, Overbrook and Orléans.

The latest estimated restoration time is slated for 10 p.m.
