Ottawa men arrested after police uncover crystal meth, cocaine, fentanyl in Brockville

Two men from Ottawa are facing a list of 20 charges after police found a number of drugs in a Brockville apartment.

The Brockville Police Service's Emergency Response Team arrested two suspects during a traffic stop on Broad Street on Monday, June 21. It was a result of a joint operation between Brockville police and the Ontario Provincial Police in regards to drug trafficking activity in the town. 

Following the arrests, a search warrant was executed at a King Street apartment. Inside, police located cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, fentanyl, cash and a butterfly knife. 

Tanner West, 29, and Nicholas Adams, 31, face charges, including possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime, possession of a prohibited weapon and breach of release conditions.   

Both suspects will be appearing before the Brockville Court for bail hearings on June 22.
