Daily Tokyo Olympics 2020 Recap: Team Canada wins first gold medal

Olympic Day 3: Monday, July 26

Margaret Mac Neil won the women’s 100 metre butterfly event to capture Canada’s first gold medal of the Tokyo Olympics. However, this was the second medal for the London, Ont. swimmer, as she was part of the team that won silver in the 4×100 freestyle relay on Sunday.
