Ottawa police looking for vehicle of interest in murder of 16-year-old

The Ottawa Police Service's (OPS) Homicide Unit is asking the public for information about a vehicle being linked with the murder of John Ndayishimiye.

The 16-year-old was killed at a home on Elmira Drive, on December 6, 2021.

Investigators are looking to speak to anyone who saw the blue Ford F-150 in the area of Cobden Road, Iris Street, Baseline Road and Woodroffe Avenue, between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m., on the day of the homicide. 

Police would also like to speak with anyone who was in those areas during that time, and has dashcam or video surveillance footage.
