Pedestrian killed in Kanata crash on Hazeldean Road

A man has died from his injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Kanata.

Emergency crews say they responded to the collision on Hazeldean Road near Eagleson Road, just before 6 p.m., Wednesday, December 15, after receiving reports that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.

The man was treated on scene for life-threatening injuries and transported to hospital, but later succumbed to his injuries.

Any witnesses to the incident are asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service’s Collision Investigations Unit at 613-236-1222 ext. 5366.
