Ontario reporting decrease in COVID-19 hospitalizations

Ontario is reporting 670 people in hospital with COVID-19 on Thursday, June 2 with 119 in intensive care units (ICUs). 

The number of COVID-19 hospitalizations decreased by 52 from what was reported the previous day, when the province revealed 722 people in hospital with COVID-19. The number of people in ICUs also decreased from yesterday's numbers, when Ontario reported 127 individuals in ICUs. 

Two more COVID-19 related deaths were added today, while 1,038 new COVID-19 cases were reported. 

Ottawa Public Health (OPH) is reporting 14 people in hospital with COVID-19 today, the same number reported yesterday. One more virus related death was reported today by OPH, with two people currently in ICUs.
