Orléans Craft Beer Festival back in full swing

By CityNews Ottawa

The festival season is in full swing in the nation's capital, and residents who love beer, food and music can head out the city's east end this weekend for the return of a popular event.

The Orléans Craft Beer Festival kicked off on Thursday, June 9 and runs until Saturday, June 11 at the Centrum Plaza.

“We are ready,” Alexus White with Orléans Festivals, who helps organize the annual festival told The Sam Laprade Show on Thursday, June 9 with guest host Derick Fage.

This years marks the fourth edition of the event that celebrates craft beer. The 19 and over event features three days of food and entertainment as well as a chance for festival goers to try beer from different breweries. There are also options for the non beer drinkers, with wine and non alcoholic options available.

“We love our community and we just want to show the east end a good time,” added White.
