Algonquin College preparing for spring graduation ceremonies

Final preparations begin as Algonquin College hosts one of the largest graduation events in the school's history.

Algonquin College is hosting in-person spring convocation ceremonies for the first since 2019 with 11 ceremonies beginning on June 21. The ceremonies will take place at the Canadian Tire Centre, with just over 10,500 graduates, and are open to students from the spring and fall of 2021 classes, as well as winter of 2022 graduates.

The Pembroke and Perth campuses has their ceremonies earlier this month.

“We are excited to offer our learners the option this year of an in-person experience or attending their ceremony virtually,” said Claude Brulé, president and chief executive officer of Algonquin College. “In both cases, our teams have been planning for many months to make this a highly personalized and memorable ceremony for our learners and their loved ones. We are looking forward to an incredible week of celebrations.”
