Captain sustains minor burns after escaping boat fire in Rideau Ferry area
The captain of a major vessel sustained minor burns after the boat went up in flames on the evening of Saturday, July 2.
The Leeds County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Rideau Lakes Fire crews responded to the 30-foot vessel on fire near the Rideau Ferry area, about 15 minutes from Smiths Falls.
