Police seize firearm in routine traffic stop

A routine traffic stop on the evening of July 19 led to the seizure of a firearm.
In a tweet released on July 20, the Ottawa Police Service (OPS) said a driver and a passenger were arrested during the stop that took place near Hunt Club Road and Hawthorne Road at 11:45 p.m.
Charges are pending.
