Ottawa Public Health announces additional monkeypox vaccine appointments

Ottawa Public Health (OPH) announced on August 3 that they had added more appointments to get the monkeypox vaccine, after tweeting on August 2 that they were fully booked.

Appointments are being offered at the Centretown Community Health Centre and the Sexual Health Clinic.

According to the Ontario Ministry of Health guidelines, a single dose of the vaccine is expected to provide reasonable protection by two to four weeks following vaccination.
