Ottawa police charge two people with stunt driving during Labour Day speed enforcement on Hwy. 174

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) Traffic Unit conducted a Labour Day speed enforcement campaign on Regional Road 174.

The blitz was set up in a construction zone where the current speed limit is 80 km/h. 

According to police, 38 provincial offence notices were served for speeding and two stunt driving charges were also laid. 

A G2 driver was clocked going 137 km/h, while a G driver was nabbed for going 139 km/h. 

Motorists are reminded to slow down and follow the rules of the road.
