Sean Devine elected in Knoxdale-Merivale

Sean Devine is headed to to Ottawa City Hall with nearly 40 per cent of the votes. 

Devine was one of seven candidates looking to replace Keith Elgi, the ward's current councillor, who decided not to seek re-election. 

Some of the candidates running in the ward included the brother of the incumbent, Myles Egli, and small business advocate Michael Wood.
