No injuries reported after crews tackle blaze at east end car wash

Ottawa firefighters tackled a blaze on the roof of an east end car wash on the morning of Oct. 28.

Shortly before 9:30 a.m., firefighters driving on Innes Road noticed black smoke coming from the Halo Car Wash. Emergency crews opened sections of the roof to extinguish any hot spots.

The fire was declared under control at 9:40 a.m. No injuries were reported.

An investigator has been dispatched to the scene to determine the cause of the fire.
