Police seeking two men after drug seizure on College Street in Kingston

A warrant has been issued for two men after Kingston police officers executed search warrants at two units in a residential building on College Street in Kingston on Oct. 26. 

These warrants were obtained after a two month investigation into a group of drug traffickers selling large amounts of cocaine and crystal methamphetamine. Two of the three parties named in the search warrants had been arrested in 2021 by the Kingston Police Street Crime Unit (KPSCU) with large quantities of illegal drugs that were valued at over $800,000.00.

During the execution of the warrants, only one of the named parties, Larry Prinkosky was arrested inside his home. The other two subjects of the investigation, Matthew Campbell and Matthew Wildsmith, jumped out of the window of another apartment.

The apartment from which Campbell and Wildsmith fled was also involved in the drug trafficking operation. A third search warrant was obtained for this unit, where additional amounts of illegal drugs were located and seized.

The street value of these drugs was estimated at $448,000.

Larry Prinkosky and Sterling Wilson were charged with the following offences:

A warrant has been obtained for Matthew Wildsmith and Matthew Campbell for the above listed offences. Both parties are actively evading arrest by the Kingston police, and are believed to still be in the Kingston area.
