New data reveals patients spent an average of 21.3 hours in an Ontario emergency room waiting to be admitted

The latest data for Health Quality Ontario (HQO) shows patients spent just over 21 hours in an Ontario emergency room (ER) waiting to be admitted in the month of September. 

HQO's latest statistics also reveal that on average, patients waited two hours for a first assessment from doctor in an Ontario hospital ER.
