Tim Hortons chicken noodle soup recalled in Ontario after presence of insects

By CityNews Staff

Health Canada says a Tim Hortons chicken noodle soup brand product is facing a recall due to what health and safety inspectors deemed the presence of insects.

The soup base chicken noodle product was sold in Ontario and Alberta up to and including Oct. 20, 2022.

Health Canada says the chicken noodle product, distributed by La Cie McCormick Canada, was mostly being served in hotels and restaurants.

It’s unclear what type of insect was discovered.

No illnesses were reported or confirmed by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
