Fire engulfs vehicle on 416, no injuries reported

Ottawa Fire Services (OFS) responded to a car fire on the southbound Highway 416, north of Dilworth Road, forcing the highway's closure.

Firefighters from Station 83 in North Gower responded just before 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, and brought the fire under control in less than 20 minutes.
