Police probe fatal shooting near Ottawa Hospital general campus

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is investigating a fatal shooting.

Officers responded to the General Campus of The Ottawa Hospital (TOH) around 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 14 after a person arrived with a gunshot wound.

According to police, the shooting happened in the 1500 block of Station Boulevard, not far from the hospital.

The victim, Omar Al-Khalidi, 18, succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
