Foo Fighters, Pitbull among big names performing at Bluesfest this summer

Some big names are performing at the 2023 edition of RBC Bluesfest.
One of the world's largest music festivals, which this year runs from July 6 until July 16 at LeBreton Flats, is hosting the likes of the Foo Fighters on July 12, Pitbull on July 15, Death Cab for Cutie on July 9, Mumford & Sons on July 13 and Weezer on July 7.
Canadian superstar Shania Twain was already announced as the festival's opening day headliner on July 6.
The Foo Fighters return to RBC Bluesfest after drawing one the largest crowds in the festival's history back in 2018.
Twain leads a group of homegrown Canadian talent that's taking the stage this year including Billy Talent, Alan Doyle and Amos the Transparent, who are from Ottawa.
“It's always nice to reveal the lineup and get some reaction,” Monahan said on The Sam Laprade Show with guest host Derick Fage on Feb. 22. “It's something we work on for a really long time and it's nice to get the feedback from people.”
