Perth house fire under investigation by the Ontario Fire Marshal

A fully engulfed structure fire on Harvey Street in the Town of Perth has left one person with serious injuries.
The Lanark OPP were asked to assist Perth Fire Services just before 6:00 p.m. on April 7, 2023.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown, and the Ontario Office of the Fire Marshal has taken over the investigation to determine the circumstances leading to the blaze.
Lanark OPP and Forensic Identification Services remain at the scene to assist in the investigation.
