No injuries reported after plane crash near Ottawa Airport

A pilot escaped injury in a plane crash near the Ottawa Airport.

Ottawa Fire Services (OFS) responded to an area near Hunt Club Road and Paul Benoit Driveway shortly after 10 a.m. on Sunday, April 16 after multiple calls reporting a possible plane crash.

While on route to the scene, OFS was updated that a small two-seater aircraft with a single occupant on board had gone down.

Upon arrival, a patient was found to be in the care of the Ottawa Paramedic Service, though no injuries are reported.

The scene is now in the care of the Ottawa Airport.
