Cornwall resident charged in online child exploitation investigation

A man from Cornwall is facing charges following an online child exploitation investigation.

On Tuesday, April 18, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, Digital Forensics, the Cornwall Police Service and Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry OPP, executed a search warrant at a home in Cornwall.

Several electronic devices were seized.

Cole Labelle, 30, now faces the following charges:

  • Possession of Child Pornography
  • Access Child Pornography

 

The accused is being held pending a bail hearing.
