UPDATE: Missing woman last seen in Alta Vista area, found dead

The 34-year-old woman who went missing ten days ago in the Alta Vista area was found dead by Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
A release from the Ottawa Police Service (OPS) said there is no evidence of foul play.
Officers would like to thank the public for their help in this matter.

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is asking for the public’s help to locate a missing woman last seen in the city’s south end.
Police say the 34-year-old was last seen on Tuesday, May 9 around 11 a.m. in the Alta Vista area.
She is described as:
- Black
- 5’5 (165 cm)
- with long curly black hair
- dark brown eyes
She was last seen wearing all-black clothing. Police say she could be in the Gatineau or Ottawa area, and there is concern for her safety and well-being.
