Jann Arden to headline Canada Day festivities on Parliament Hill

The lineup has been announced for Canada Day in the National Capital Region.
Canadian Heritage says a variety of free activities will be offered to the public on Saturday, July 1, in downtown Ottawa, including Parliament Hill, or in Gatineau.
That includes a daytime ceremony, an evening show, and family-friendly activities at LeBreton Flats Park.
The daytime ceremony, hosted by Rebecca Makonnen, will feature the following performances:
- Pierre Kwenders
- Delhi 2 Dublin
- Tyler Shaw
- Josiane
- DIYET
- Katia Rock
- Marie-Josée Dandeneau
The evening show, dubbed ‘Canada Day: A playlist to celebrate,’ will be hosted by Isabelle Racicot.
It will feature performances by:
- Jann Arden
- Roxane Bruneau
- Aysanabee
- France D’Amour
- Preston Pablo
- Les Louanges
- Jojo Mason
- Dubmatique
- Dax
- Clerel
- Madison Violet
- Josh Q
- Josiane
There will also be a number of live performances from across Canada including:
- Tegan and Sara, from Vancouver, BC
- Dear Rouge, from Calgary, AB
- 6 Hearts, from Charlottetown, PEI
Canadians are also invited to participate in the evening show by choosing two songs to be performed by artists.
