Environment Canada forecasting 15-30mm of rain to start the week

Ottawa is getting some much-needed rain to start the week.

Periods of rain are forecast to begin early Monday afternoon with 5-10mm forecast, along with a risk of thunderstorm.

Environment Canada expects the rain to continue into the evening with another 10-20mm by morning.

As for Tuesday, periods of rain or drizzle should taper off sometime in the morning with overcast conditions forecast for the rest of the day.

There is also a chance of showers for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
