Police searching for two men involved in commercial break and enter on Stevenage Drive

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) Break and Enter Unit is searching for two suspects in a commercial break and enter that took place in the city’s south end earlier last month.

Between the hours of 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. pm June 8, two suspects, who were driving a white Ford Econoline commercial van, entered a business located in the 2700 block of Stevenage Drive in Ottawa.

Police believe the suspects stole over $100,000 worth of copper wiring.

Suspect number one: Caucasian male, 30 to 45-years-old,  5’9″ to 6’0″ with a slim build, wearing all black clothing including a G-star hoodie.
Suspect number two: Caucasian male, 30 to 45-years-old, 5’7″ to 5’10”, average build, wearing all black clothing including a Puma hoodie.

The vehicle is described as a Ford Econoline van (possibly in the 2008-2013 range) and is equipped with Caterpillar mudflaps.  However, the rear passenger mudflap is missing, while the plate on the van is not registered to the vehicle (AD 90975), and no front plates were seen.
