Police identify Barrhaven vehicle theft suspect, investigation ongoing

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) have identified the man involved in a Barrhaven vehicle theft in late May. 

The investigation is ongoing. 

The OPS is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who was involved in a vehicle theft in the Barrhaven area in May of this year.

In a release, the OPS said the man in question entered an idling vehicle in the 3100 block of Strandherd Drive on May 25 and drove the vehicle to the 1100 block of Heron Road.

Police said the man, who is described as a white man in his early 20s with a medium build, brown hair and beard, made some purchases with a credit card found in the vehicle.

He was last seen wearing a white hoodie with black accents, black patterned pants and a baseball hat.
