Tickets officially on sale for Panda Game

Tickets are now on sale for the 2023 Panda Game.
The annual contest between football teams from Carleton University and the University of Ottawa is happening on Sunday, Oct. 1 at TD Place.

The game is usually played on a Saturday, but due to an Ottawa Redblacks home game at TD Place on Sept. 30, the game was shifted to the following day.
Tickets went on sale as of 10 a.m. this morning and are available at ticketmaster.ca.
The Panda Game has been marred by controversy over the past few years over loud parties and celebrations in the Sandy Hill area.
In 2022, over 80 provincial offence notices were issued for open alcohol and Ottawa By-law handed out over 100 parking tickets as well.
In 2021, following the football game between the University of Ottawa’s Gee Gees and Carleton Ravens, celebrations quickly escalated. Thousands of students flooded the Sandy Hill neighbourhood, and some students could be seen on social media flipping a car.
Seven people were taken to hospital with non-serious injuries.
