OPP investigating mischief incident in downtown Pembroke

The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking witnesses and surveillance video in connection to an early morning act of criminal mischief in downtown Pembroke.
An unknown person cut propane lines and attempted to start a fire in a recycling container at a business in the 0-100 block of Pembroke Street West.
The incident occurred at approximately 5 a.m. on Sept. 30, 2023. The person of interest is described as a male with a red bandana covering their face, wearing blue jeans, a blue jacket, and a blue backpack.
