Joint-police operation leads to drug seizures in Ottawa and Gatineau

A joint-police operation between police in Ottawa and Gatineau has led to a large drug seizure.

Moving on information received from the public, the Ottawa Police Service (OPS) and the Service de police de la Ville de Gatineau (SPVG) conducted a series of raids at three locations.

Search warrants were executed at 115 rue Nancy-Elliot, apartment 408, in Aylmer and 13 rue Marcotte in Gatineau, as well as at 36 Iberville Street, apartment 3, in Ottawa.

It total, officers seized the following:

 

Two men, aged 26 and 34, were arrested and charges pending. Both men have been released on a promise to appear in court.
