Police find stolen vehicle in Lowertown, one man facing numerous charges

A 46-year-old man is facing a number of charges after an incident in Lowertown earlier this morning.
The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) said shortly after midnight on Oct, 4, officers located a stolen vehicle in Lowertown.
The driver of the vehicle tried to evade police and hit a police car in the process.

He ditched the vehicle and fled on foot and when an officer caught up with him.
The accused is expected to appear in court today.
