The Peterborough Petes silenced the hometown crowd at TD Place Arena as the visiting squad snapped the Ottawa 67’s win streak at three with a 4-1 on Friday night.
Ottawa captain Luca Pinelli scored the 67’s lone goal of the night, his sixth of the 2023-2024 OHL campaign.
Brady Stonehouse and Brad Gardiner assisted on the captain’s power play marker to tie the game at one early in the first period, but the Petes scored three unanswered.
This was the second meeting of the season between these two divisional rivals. The Petes took beat the 67’s squad Ottawa’s home opener, by a score of 5-2.
It was Ottawa Redblacks night at TD Place Arena, as the 67’s paid tribute to their housemates.
The 67’s will look to get back in the win column when they host the Soo Greyhounds on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m.
