Police seeking man who flashed gun outside Kingston convenience store

Kingston police are seeing an individual who brandished a gun outside a store in Kingston last week.

The Kingston Police Service said the incident occurred at roughly 11 p.m. on Oct. 27 when the suspect was shouting obscenities at a youth outside of a convenience store in the 1100 block of Division Street in Kingston’s north end while showing a gun.

The youth was able to get away unharmed, and the suspect was last seen running toward the shopping plaza located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Division Street and Benson Street.

It is unknown if the youth and the suspect knew each other.

The suspect is described as Caucasian with a slim build and short brown hair. He was also wearing glasses and had a tattoo of a bearded man with a fedora/cowboy hat on the back of his right forearm. He was wearing a grey hoodie with black shoulders and a green ball cap. He was also wearing a blue/black/white backpack with black shoulder straps.
