The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) has launched an investigation into a weekend parking lot brawl linked to a soccer game in the south end of the city.

The OPS said it received multiple 9-1-1 calls after 2 p.m. on Nov. 11 in response a large fight in the 1800 block of Bank Street. Police stated the fight “appeared to be linked to a soccer game.”

Police said all parties have been identified, and three people refused treatment for injuries.

According to police, several replica firearms and weapons were seized. The investigation is ongoing.
